Pressure on children to succeed…

Published by arthi under Children Edit This

Just one look at the reality shows in almost every channel gives you the names of so many bright talented children who are competing vigorously to win a title and some money in a competition. The huge spectrum of child talent in our country does amuse me and like everyone else I am also happy. But what’s really worth considering is that are all children participating on their own will?  I don’t think so and the parents outburst on the children being nominated out of these competitions is nothing worth as a role model.

Every parents wants their own child to be the best and that’s only natural. But screaming and  blaming another onstage child for the loss of their own child does not only affect their own child but the poor innocent one on stage who had done nothing but to perform better. Also some parents are nowadays trying too hard to get their children famous and  become celebrities and on the way these children re losing out their proper childhood. It must be ensured that after the children wins they continue their proper education and the money won can only be used by them if they become adults or for their education purposes by their parents.

At least it will stop people from using their children as a step to stardom which they had once craved for but then failed to attain. They are children and let them live and enjoy their childhood without any hindrance and grow up like every normal child with proper schooling and social security. They are children and let them be so until nature decides to rub them off it. Unfortunately glamour world with all its glamour and stardom also has ugly facts and truths of life too open for the benefit of a child. All things happening there may not alwayas be soo good to the child’s mental growth leave alone their trust on people around them. Just take care and nurture their talent. If they win a competition good, now go back to their normal friendly school and family life.
